Located in Melbourne CBD, IBAC is Victoria's independent anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by: investigating serious corruption and police misconduct; and informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented. Our jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament and the judiciary.

IBAC has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Information Technology & Management Team as an IT Systems Administrator - Disaster Recover on a full-time, 12 month fixed term basis. Reporting to Team Leader Information Technology & Telephony, the role is designed to role work closely with vendors to install, configure and document IBAC's disaster recovery environment.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Implement the Disaster Recovery hardware and software refresh.
  • Document the Disaster Recovery plan from an Information technology perspective.
  • Conduct a Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity test and document the results.
  • Demonstrate IT knowledge through advanced IT administration management and support in accordance with agreed processes and policies including ITIL, ISO 27K standards.
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently analyse, trouble-shoot and rectify incidents and problems quickly and effectively
