Position Details

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is seeking a well-rounded learning and development specialist to design and implement programs that will truly make a difference to our employee experience and organisational performance.

  • Lead the design of technical professional development to drive industry change.
  • Help build Talent pipelines through innovative Graduate and Retiree programs.
  • Support the organisation's goal to improve customer experience.
  • Build strong partnerships throughout the business and with Industry bodies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and implement learning and development programs.
  • Inspire both technical and corporate employees through contemporary design.
  • Apply adult learning methodologies through blended learning and evaluate effectiveness.



Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence to achieve outcomes;
  • ability to produce project plans and effectively monitor performance to deliver learning solutions that meet internal customer needs; and
  • strong ability to pick up new learning technology with ease, including web based, LMS and SCORM publishing tools (desirable).

Salary Details

A base salary in the Grade 5 range of $98,396 to $108,724 plus 9.5% super.
