Located in Melbourne CBD, IBAC is Victoria's independent anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by: investigating serious corruption and police misconduct; and informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented. Our jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament and the judiciary.

IBAC has an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded Talent Acquisition professional to join our Human Resources (HR) team. Reporting to Manager HR, the role is a whole of organisation HR support role with key accountability for the successful delivery of two critical portfolios; talent acquisition and HR operations.

The successful candidate will be executing and managing various projects around talent and recruitment needs, influencing the development of the EVP and ensuring hiring Managers are trained properly and have all the tools required at their disposal to do a fantastic job. Combine this with a passion for understanding the data and working with systems to enable a change in how HR provides people insights and support the transformation of how HR partners with the business.

What we are we looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience leading recruitment end to end.
  • An analytical mindset, accompanied with previous experience implementing analytical processes, systems maximisation and payroll oversight
  • Prior experience as a Talent Acquisition or HR specialist
  • An effective relationship manager that is able to build trust and credibility within the organisation
  • A strong customer service acumen, comfortable reporting and using an analytical eye to implement strategic recruitment solutions
  • Good knowledge of PeopleStreme or relevant HRIS
