Position Details

MANAGER ASSET MANAGEMENT, INFORMATION AND PERFORMANCE

  • $120,692 – $161,511 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing
  • Usual Work Hours: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Melbourne, CBD (flexibility may be available)

 

The Manager, Asset System Planning and Development provides leadership and direction in the development of a capable, efficient and sustainable transport network servicing all of Victoria's transport users.  The position works together with the transport agencies to ensure integrated and complementary delivery of transport programs and projects to respond to transport user needs and improve overall system performance.

This position is responsible for leading the work to establish the project to define, receive approval and ongoing management of development and deployment of the Transport Asset Strategy, and supporting systems, processes and guidelines.

The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise and effective coordination across DoT and Portfolio Agencies and ensure that the capability of asset management is continuously improved.

  • Provide details of your knowledge, skills and experience in developing and implementing Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMP). In a complex organisation, such as DoT.
  • Provide details of your knowledge, skills and experience in developing and implementing asset information management system, and whole of life cost optimisation models to support strategic and operational asset planning, assessment and forecasting, in a complex organisation, such as DoT.
  • Establish the necessary systems, tools, reporting and administrative processes to support tracking and analysis of the Transport Asset Strategies in collaboration with the delivery Agencies.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check prior to commencing employment with the Department.
