Position Details

  • Provide key support to the Executive Assistant to CEO/Commissioner and Board.
  • Establish and lead an Executive assistant communicy of practice.

We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to CEO/Commissioner.

The position reports to the Senior Advisor to CEO/Commissioner and provides executive support and advice to the CEO / Commissioner.  The position works closely with the Senior Adviser to the CEO/Commissioner assisting in the preparation, briefing and follow up of meetings and events with internal and external stakeholders, and the planning, tracking and monitoring of a range of key activities and projects.  In addition, the position provides administrative management and support to the VLSB+C Board and ensures coordination of support across the Board Committees, to ensure their effective and efficient operation.

The Executive Assistant to the CEO/Commissioner will establish and lead an Executive Assistant community of practice comprising all of the organisation's Executive Assistants..

The position requires strong communication and relationship management skills, experience working with multiple stakeholders on complex multi-dimensional and at times sensitive issues, along with analytical and conceptual ability and planning skills.
