SENIOR POLICY OFFICER - REHABILITATION

  • $98,396 - $119,052 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term – to 30 June 2020 
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

The position of Senior Policy Officer - Rehabilitation forms a part of the Resources, Forestry and Game division within the Rural and Regional Victoria group.

Reporting to the Manager, Rehabilitation Policy your primary purpose is to support the development of contemporary policy, regulatory design and legislative reforms for earth resources to enable investment and generate jobs through the development of the State's resources, while protecting public safety and the environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have sound research and analytical skills as well as demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex policy and legislative reform issues and the capability and experience in building collaborative working relationships.  If you can demonstrate experience in the provision of authoritative advice on matters relating to policy, governance and regulatory issues to senior leaders and strong project management skills, then this could be the position for you.
