Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Prevention Policy and Research team as Senior Strategic Policy and Research Officer on a full-time fixed term basis. Reporting to the Manager Prevention Policy & Research.
Duties include:
- Prepare high-quality authoritative reports and develop appropriate recommendations for policy, system or practice change to assist corruption prevention.
- Plan and manage projects on policy and research issues and ensure project objectives are met in a timely way.
- Apply good judgement, creativity and innovation to manage, analyse, research and resolve complex policy and research issues across IBAC and/or the public sector.
- Contribute to the Prevention Policy and Research unit's business planning and policy development to support evolving organisational priorities.

Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Highly developed research, conceptual and analytical skills demonstrated in the development, analysis and resolution of complex policy issues.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis and briefing.
- Experience in public sector operating environments and a relevant tertiary qualification are desirable.
