Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Communication team as Communication Officer on a full-time, ongoing basis. Reporting to the Manager - Communication, the role will provide administrative support for a range of activities and programs delivered by the Communication team. The role will also contribute to coordinating key communication activities - including campaigns, educational products and internal communications including e-newsletters, videos, infographics and social media.
Duties include:
- Develop a range of communications materials to help IBAC effectively communicate with the Victorian community and public sector.
- Updating IBAC's digital platforms including the website, social media channels and intranet.
- Prepare and source content for and coordinate internal communications including the weekly e-newsletter update to all staff.
- Coordinate key communication activities - including campaigns, development and delivery of educational products and internal communications

Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- At least three years' experience in stakeholder communications, public relations, media, general communications, or related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to write, edit and design or supervise the production of quality communication products.
- A tertiary qualification is required (communications, or similar).
Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
