Museum Victoria seeks a vibrant and creative professional to manage the Collection Relocation element of its Interim Collection Storage Project.
As the successful candidate, you will have experience working with large and varied collections, excellent project management skills and a CV which demonstrates your ability to deliver large and complex logistical projects.
To execute more than thirty discrete but inter-dependent relocations in a little under three years across Museum Victoria’s Humanities and Natural Sciences Departments you will recruit and manage a small relocation team and coordinate moves with the Interim Collection Storage Project Manager and Client and existing Collection Managers.
Reporting to Museum Victoria’s Manager of Collection Storage and Logistics you will also work closely with the Interim Collection Storage Project Manager. You will work across and between Museum Victoria’s collection stores at the Melbourne Museum complex, the Moreland Annexe and Scienceworks.
This is a full time and fixed term positron, until 30/06/2016. The salary on offer is $70,281 + 9.25% superannuation. The start date is ASAP, or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
