About the role
Our multidisciplinary Recovery and Wellness Team provides person centred, recovery orientated and trauma informed mental health care to consumers and their families within the Warrnambool catchment. The Senior Clinician role is responsible for contributing to leadership in clinical decision making, quality improvement and team wellbeing and cohesion, in conjunction with the Manager of Warrnambool MHS and team psychiatrists.
What you bring
As a skilled and experienced clinician you're a leader who can mentor clinicians to support our team's care model deliverables. Under the leadership and support of the Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Services Manager and team of Psychiatrists the senior clinician is responsible for the coordination of daily clinical practices including the distribution of work in an efficient and equitable manner. These responsibilities are in addition to the Mental Health Clinician Generic Responsibilities.
Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020 or Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2017-21 with the appropriate classification for Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4,Social Worker Grade 3, Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Psychologist Grade 3.
