About the role
The Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Service encompasses two teams: the Access Team and Recovery and Wellness Team, both contribute to delivering recovery orientated mental health care to consumers and their families. Our service currently has vacancies for highly skilled and motivated clinicians to join our multidisciplinary teams. Positions vary from permanent roles to temporary with potential opportunities for ongoing as our service extends.
What you bring
Clinicians are responsible for providing high quality integrated mental health services, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Under the leadership and support of the Senior Clinicians, Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Services Manager and team Psychiatrists clinicians are responsible for providing comprehensive case management, undertaking triage shifts, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Previous experience in working with people encountering mental health difficulties, either in triage and crisis response, or ongoing case management would be an advantage. You will be proactive in providing evidence informed, strength based, trauma informed and family focused treatments and/or referrals appropriate to the needs of the individual, their carers and family.
Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020 or Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2017-21 with the appropriate classification for Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3,Social Worker Grade 2, Occupational Therapist Grade 2, Psychologist Grade 2.
