Position Details
About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role will be to carry out routine maintenance and cleaning services across our organisation under the direction of the maintenance manager. Depending on the skill base and experience of the successful candidate, duties may include operating light machinery, light gardening and mowing, managing waste disposal across sites, and routine repairs and maintenance. The role may undertake some administrative tasks including utilsing our online maintenance and hazard record system.
This is a casual appointment with hours rostered according to business needs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have skills and/or prior work experience in either a maintenance, gardening, or workplace cleaning environment. You will be an excellent communicator with a strong customer focus and a positive, proactive approach. You will be great at collaborating in teams of people from across different areas and backgrounds. You will be safety focused and have some computer skills to utilse email and simple data entry programs. You will be able to work under broad direction to complete your tasks with minimal supervision.
