Locum or Ongoing, Part Time position
We are looking for an accomplished Dentist to provide general and emergency dental care to eligible public clients as well as providing leadership and clinical expertise to our dental practitioner team.
Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is a busy and progressive regional health service. This rewarding role provides an opportunity to mentor and guide our junior dentists whilst enjoying a great work/life balance in our beautiful region.

The BRHS Oral Health Service consists of a modern well-equipped 6 chair surgery located within the Ross Street Campus. The program also offers dental outreach services under a sub-regional model with Omeo Hospital as well as operating a mobile chair to treat the local Aboriginal community.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Registration as a Dental Practitioner with AHPRA
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in current Victorian Public Dental programs
- Excellent knowledge and competence in all aspects of general dental clinical practice, together with demonstrated commitment to maintain and update clinical knowledge
- Proven record of carrying out a broad range of advanced and complex dental procedures.
- Effective leadership skills with the proven capacity and interest in providing supervision and mentoring to dental practitioners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with co-workers and patients and liaise and network with professional and community groups
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines for clinical quality monitoring activities and audits.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and lead quality initiatives, clinical guidelines and pathways.
