A new opportunity exists for a proactive Administrative professional to join the People and Culture division to provide leadership and support to the BRHS administration team. 

This newly designed role will support the Administration Support Manager to coordinate administration support staff in a number of areas throughout the hospital.  Key aspects of this role will include overseeing the Allied Health and General Services administration teams, managing the casual administration support pool for BRHS and providing day-to-day management of BRHS staff accommodation (incorporating 14 residences).  In this position you will also provide ad-hoc coverage for administration support staff as required.

This position will suit a skilled Administrator who has a strong focus on customer service, excellent organisational skills and is eager to take on a new challenge in a leadership capacity. This a great chance to secure a full time position and enjoy a role with considerable variety.


Applicants are required to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years administration experience
  • A minimum of twelve months' experience leading a team and day-to day people management.
  • Business Administration or Management qualification (minimum Certificate III)
  • Excellent administration skills with the proven ability to provide first class customer service and produce a range of business documents to a high standard.
  • Effective interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to independently set priorities, meet deadlines and adjust work schedules to accommodate competing demands.   
  • Experience reviewing, implementing and evaluating administrative work processes which result in efficient work practices and system improvements. 
  • Ability to use initiative and apply problem solving skills to facilitate best possible outcomes
