We are looking for a
Head of Emergency Medicine
We are looking for a clinical leader with:
- Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- A Diploma or fellowship in emergency medicine, ACRRM Generalist Emergency Medicine or equivalent capability with extensive experience in emergency medicine and a preparedness to undertake such a qualification.
Central Gippsland Health (CGH) is a subregional health service and the major provider of health and aged care services in the Wellington Shire. We serve an immediate population of approximately 42,000 in Central Gippsland, and reach a wider community in East Gippsland and parts of South Gippsland in terms of more specialised services such as perinatal services, critical care and surgery.
Acute services include a full time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit and operating suite.
The emergency department has approximately 16,000 attendances per annum with a complexity mix similar to other sub-regional health services in Victoria.
