- $74,580 to $82,571 + 11.5% Super
- Fixed Term - Part Time (0.6) - Maternity backfill – Upto 11 months
- Office Location: Derrimut Office - 24 Grimes Court, Derrimut VIC 3026
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Business Support Officer is a multi-faceted role across the Assets business unit responsible for providing administration and office coordination in collaboration with the Business Support Coordinator.
The role supports the Manager Assets and broader team's activities by providing high level business support and services through the administration of a variety of tasks including preparing agendas, records management, collating information for reports, scheduling meetings, managing office supplies and mail, attending to and coordinating site contractors, assigning emails (tickets) to team members for resolution, and undertaking general office management duties for both the State Logistics and State Fleet Centre.
This position requires a high level of organisation and will need to be able to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities, communicate effectively, and contribute to the overall success of the Assets team.

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service. Our highly skilled and equipped Volunteers are trained comprehensively in a wide range of emergency environments. To minimise the impact of emergencies when they occur and strengthen the community's capacity to recover swiftly and safely, VICSES focuses on working with communities and partners in building resilience to achieve more aware, informed and prepared communities. We support them to understand their risk and the relevance of taking action before, during and after emergency events.
As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
