About the role

Join our Human Resources Branch where we provide a full range of HR services to over 1000 employees to help build a culture of performance and commitment, promote a safe and inclusive workplace, and enable us to achieve our business goals.

As a HR Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of recruitment and employee lifecycle activities, providing accurate and timely advice to staff members, conducting generalist HR functions and assisting with projects that help enhance the services the HR branch provides to the State Revenue Office.

Reporting to the HR Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and administering recruitment and selection processes.
  • Establishing, maintaining and administering a range of records on our digital databases i.e., CHRIS21, MyCareer, Springboard (eRecruitment system), Jira and CM10; manual files and other digital databases.
  • Participating in projects and programs that contribute to improving recruitment and selection, HR policies and practices.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Generalist HR experience in a contemporary HR environment, preferably in the public sector in the areas of recruitment and selection and general HR.
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise your own work, multitask and use analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills to convey complex information in a clear and professional manner.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
