About the Business Unit:
The Transformation, Development and Capability business unit is responsible for transformation and learning and development to support employees.
About the Role:
The Lead Custodial Delivery is a member of the Department of Justice and Community Safety within People, Safety, Culture and Communications team. The role is responsible for managing and leading the delivery of training to the Youth Justice business unit.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing leadership to a training team delivering multi-modal training solutions mainly, but not limited to, custodial settings
- Managing trainer wellbeing and capacity by liaising with the Lead, Coordination and Reporting to optimise training availability and quality
- Developing a model of delivery that includes developing internal training capacity of the program and strategic use of external providers to ensure training demand across the state is met.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Leadership in multi-modal training delivery for a training team delivering various training solutions
- Proficiency in developing and implementing a flexible and comprehensive training delivery model that builds internal capacity and strategically incorporates external providers to meet statewide training demands
- A high capability in enhancing trainers' professional practice through targeted development programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies and data analytics, utilising tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track, evaluate, and enhance training programs.
