About this role
The Project Officer - Compliance is part of the Water Compliance and Market Reform Team which is responsible for the coordination and oversight of Victoria's water resource compliance and enforcement activities. Our role ensures fair access to water resources and confidence in the water entitlement framework.
In this position you will work with water corporations, government, and water industry stakeholders to continue building best practice water regulation. Your work will support a rigorous monitoring and reporting framework for ongoing oversight of water corporation compliance and enforcement functions.
This role requires a self-motivated and organised thinker with proven experience working within and across organisations to develop shared solutions to policy or regulatory challenges. Experience in project delivery will be an asset in this role.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Qualifications and/or experience in the following areas would be highly regarded: regulation and governance; project management; reporting and communicating information; Power BI.
This is a fixed term position available until 28th November 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
