About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join our dynamic and collaborative team. You'll work alongside a diverse group of VMO and staff specialists, all committed to delivering safe, best practice clinical services to our patients.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Full time (76 hours per fortnight), On going position
- Competitive remuneration, commensurate with experience
What you bring
- Has a broad experience in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to enable confident clinical practice in a regional area.
- Suitable qualifications as a medical practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
- Holds current Registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
- Has a commitment to quality improvement activities relating to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice.
- Has effective communication, conflict management and team building skills.
- Has experience in and a positive attitude relating to the training needs of junior medical staff.
- Relevant clinical qualifications are mandatory.
- Leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills are recommended, as are developed written and verbal communication skills.
