About the Opportunity
The Project Coordinator provides project coordination across technology and other Library projects. Working closely with the Manager, Change and Projects and the Library's technology team the Project Coordinator coordinates project delivery during systems implementations and transitions. The role also provides hands-on support to ensure project delivery.
- Coordinate and support the successful delivery of software implementation and transition projects
- Scope project deliverables and develop a comprehensive project delivery plan
- Coordinate with the vendor
- Drive strong engagement with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts across the Library
- Coordinate program and project governance and planning, creating and maintaining appropriate project documentation, risk management and reporting
- Collaborate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, using open and clear communication strategies
About You
The ideal candidate comes with a strong interest in project management, an understanding of technology concepts and systems, and an ability to learn on the job and quickly adapt new knowledge into practice.
Experience and qualifications
- Demonstrated Project Coordination experience or experience working within an IT function, ideally transitioning from legacy to more contemporary technologies
- Experience working in an environment undergoing significant change
- Experience working with a variety of methodologies and tools to achieve project deliverables
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, e.g. Information Systems, project management is highly desirable.
