A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our Maddocks Gardens team in a fulfilling permanent position. Play a key role fostering an enriching and supportive living environment to our residents!

The Contract: Ongoing, Part-Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight, Monday – Friday.

The Position:

As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant you will work under the guidance of the Leisure and Lifestyle Senior Assistant to plan and deliver an engaging and dynamic lifestyle program for the Maddocks Gardens community.  To be successful in this role you will work with the Leisure and LIfestyle team to ensure that group activities meet the needs of the residents enhancing their quality of life.

What you need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge to provide valuable and appropriate individual and group activities
• Proven ability to work cooperatively as part of a cohesive, supportive and collaborative team
• Passion and commitment for aged care with the capacity to advocate for the best interests of residents

Our aim is to allow residents to age within the facility in a friendly and relaxed environment promoting independence individualised and well developed care plans in consultation with residents next of kin/relative which promotes quality of life.
