About the Role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is inviting applications from Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) who are interested in transitioning into Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (MHWS). This is a valuable opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge in mental health care while working within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Division. In this role, EENs will work under the supervision of Mental Health Registered Nurses and experienced Mental Health Enrolled Nurses to provide recovery-focused care and treatment to consumers across various settings, including the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit, Community Services, and the Prevention and Recovery Care Centre (PARC).

Position overview

  • Part-time (64 hours per week), Fixed term 12-month position
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Grade 1 or 2, based on level of experience
  • Salary Range: $60,481.20 - $73,897.20 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

As an experienced or recently graduated Enrolled Nurse, you will have demonstrated experience and skills in delivering a broad range of care and services to patients in a health environment, whether in an inpatient or community setting. Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.
