About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from suitably qualified Allied Health Assistants (AHA) to join our dynamic team and help deliver a truly rewarding program - Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH).
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will support clients recovering at home, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Experience as an AHA in rehabilitation or a similar setting is highly valued—your skills can make a real difference in our community.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Part-time (64 hours per fortnight), On-going position
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Allied Health Assistant, Grade 3
- Salary: $65,754.00 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent), who can work independently to deliver therapeutic activities and maintain accurate documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals and professionals are essential, along with an understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of rehabilitation and complex health needs.
