About Us
South West Healthcare's Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service for young people aged 0-25yrs and their families. With embedded specialist streams: Infant Child and Family for 0-11 years old, and the Youth Streams for 12–25-year-olds consisting of the intake and short-term intervention and ongoing care streams.

Our Mental Health Clinicians are responsible to ensure the provision of evidence informed and developmentally appropriate treatment, care and support to Youths aged 12-25 and their families.
Mental Health Clinicians will achieve this by working in partnership with community-based services, primary health providers and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector.
Mental Health Clinicians will provide:
- Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
- Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners including General Practitioners, Paediatricians
- Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.

What you bring
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent team building skills with experience in mental health clinical services an advantage.
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously as well as an ability to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and provide effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
You're proactive, flexible, and resilient and happy to work autonomously, use your initiative, and have a high attention to detail.
You will be
A Registered Psychiatric Nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse and have at least 2 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
It would be desirable to have a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program.
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3
- Salary Range: $100,932.00 - $112,091.20 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation
An Occupational Therapist with a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency.
- Occupational Therapist Grade 2
- Salary Range: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation
A Social Worker with a Degree in Social Work & eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Social Worker Grade 2
- Salary Range: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation
A Psychologist who has registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Psychologist, Or a Provisional Psychologist completing a 5+1 program for psychology are supported and eligible to apply.
- Psychologist Grade 2 (5+1 internship Provisional Psychologist are supported and eligible to apply)
- Salary Range: $94,478.80 - $106,906.80 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation

Successful applicants for this position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $20,000.
