About the Role

Are you a Registered Nurse with theatre experience ready to take the next step in your career? Whether you're looking to step into an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) role or you are already an ANUM interested in picking up additional hours, South West Healthcare has opportunities for you within our Operating Theatre team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality and compassionate care, as well as develop in your ability to lead the day to day management and coordination of the Operating Suite.

Position Overview

We currently have three opportunities available:

  • Permanent, Part-Time (0.3 FTE)
  • Fixed-Term, Full-Time (1.0 FTE), covering parental leave until September 2025
  • Fixed-Term, Part-Time (0.8 FTE), until March 2026
  • Classification: Associate Nure Unit Manger
  • Salary Range: $115,538.80 - $119,428.40 per annum, prop rata + super + applicable penalties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant postgraduate theatre experience
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development
