About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Nutrition and Dietetics to lead a high-performing team delivering dietetic services across acute, subacute, aged care, and community settings.
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for providing clinical oversight and strategic direction to a team of dedicated Dietitians. Working as part of an integrated multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred and evidence-based nutritional care across all SWH campuses.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, Fixed-term position until June 2026
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Dietitian Grade 4
- Salary Range: $123,598.80 - $148,309.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent), and eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Australia as an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
- A minimum of seven years' post-graduate clinical experience, including substantial work in healthcare settings.
- A deep commitment to delivering patient-focused care and using feedback to continuously enhance clinical outcomes.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire high-performing clinical teams while providing expert and authoritative clinical advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster open communication, manage conflict constructively, and build effective cross-disciplinary relationships.
- Demonstrated skills in service improvement, quality and safety, and risk-informed decision-making.
- A track record of collaborating to drive innovation and improve healthcare delivery.
- Experience developing a learning-oriented workplace culture, including promoting clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Financial and operational awareness, with the ability to contribute to accountable, sustainable service delivery.
