 About the Role

We are pleased to offer two internal Storeperson opportunities within our Environmental Services team to support operations during the redevelopment of the Base Hospital. These 18-month fixed-term positions play a vital role in our interim logistics arrangements, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services across the facility.
As a Storeperson, you will support supply chain functions across various departments, including medical supplies, linen, food services, general inventory, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and dispatch goods within the Supply Department
  • Manage stock requisitions, including imprest scanning and prioritisation
  • Use systems such as Oracle and online booking platforms to manage supplies and logistics
  • Complete both internal and external delivery duties
  • Provide excellent customer service to all departments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and respond to changing priorities
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the Stores Supervisor and Environmental Services Manager as required

Position overview

  • 2 x Fixed Term, 18 months - Full Time (80 hours per week) with a monthly ADO, commencing July 2025
  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Storeperson
  • Salary: $53,508 per annum + super

What you Bring

  • Strong understanding of supply and provisioning functions within a large organisation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant systems (Oracle experience desirable)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Victorian Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)
  • Forklift Licence

 Desirable:

  • Certificate II in Warehouse Operations
