About the Opportunity
The Education Programs Producer, Primary is responsible for the design and coordination of innovative onsite and online education experiences for school student audiences. The role focuses on primary education, providing a lens of subject matter expertise in best practice learning and engagement practices. This position oversees onsite and online curriculum-linked education programs and events and plays a key role in ensuring education delivery staff are able to deliver compelling programs for diverse audiences.
The Education Programs Producer, Primary is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:
- Education and Family Programs team training
- Providing seamless coordination of all operational aspects of on-demand education programs
- Design of curriculum-aligned programs and resources
- Project management and processes within budgets and timelines and tracking resources
- Evaluation and continuous improvement
- Building and maintaining successful working relationships with relevant education networks
About You
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of learning and teaching strategies and the capacity to design curriculum-aligned education programs, events and resources. Your co-creation capability enables you to partner with diverse stakeholders to build prototypes and undertake testing to validate the strategy or program online and in real-life.
In addition, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in primary teaching and a current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Demonstrated experience in operational coordination of a team of people (ideally in an education or cultural sector context) including responsibility for training and rostering.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering curriculum-linked education programs and events (preferably in an education or cultural organisation setting).
- Experience in project management to ensure budgets, timelines and outcomes are met.
- A track record of managing successful collaborations and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience utilising a deep understanding of current pedagogy, learning and teaching strategies (including up-to-date knowledge of Victorian Curriculum 2.0) as well as experience in upskilling team members in best pedagogical practices.
