About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from suitably experienced nurses for the role of Alcohol and Other Drugs Nurse Non-residential (AOD). The AOD Nurse will provide clinical expertise, advice and support to alcohol & drug clients with consideration of their medical, mental health, social, cultural and spiritual needs. The role supports the Non-Residential Withdrawal Services (WASS) and fosters strong, collaborative partnerships with key external service providers.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Part-time (48 hours per fortnight), On-going position
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant A
- Salary Range: $116,760.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and remaining customer focused at all times.
Is a Registered Nurse with one of the following:
- Certificate IV or Postgraduate qualification in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) work; or
- Minimum of four years post-registration experience, including at least three years in a drug and alcohol setting.
- Proven ability as a clinician and resource person in the AOD field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in providing support to clients in residential and/or non-residential withdrawal services.
