About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dependable and experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our Referral Services program, providing administrative support across the team with a primary focus on the Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program. This part-time role plays a key behind-the-scenes function—ensuring clinical and operational workflows run smoothly, efficiently, and in a well-coordinated manner. Duties include managing internal systems, coordinating workflows and meetings, processing records and reports, and contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of both the HOPE program and the wider Referral Services team.

  • Salary Range: $58,442.80 - $64,610 pro rata, + superannuation

What you bring

  • Certificate III in Office Administration (or equivalent administrative experience)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database/spreadsheet proficiency
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time-management abilities
  • Detail-oriented approach to data entry, record keeping, and administrative processes
  • Effective communication and liaison within a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience in healthcare administration or within mental health or medical record settings is highly desirable
