About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from suitably qualified Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses (Grade 3) with medication endorsement. The Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse role is responsible for applying clinical knowledge and expertise to the assessment, delivery of evidence-based treatment and interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs, and their families and carers.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Part-time 40 hours per fortnight, Fixed term opportunity
Commencing September 2025, ending August 2026
- Location: Warrnambool Campus.
- Classification: Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Level 3
- Salary: $75,826.40 - $80,880.80 pro rata + superannuation and applicable penalties.
About You
As an experienced Enrolled Nurse you will have demonstrated experience and skills in delivering a broad range of mental health care and services to patients in a mental health environment, whether in an inpatient or community setting.
Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.
The successful applicant must hold
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement.
- Enrolled nurses with extensive experience in other complex care environments are encouraged to apply.
