About the Role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is inviting internal applications from passionate qualified Allied Health Assistants (AHA) to join our dynamic Physiotherapy team delivering the Transitional Care Program (TCP).

In this fulfilling role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting clients in their recovery at home and helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life. Your experience as an AHA in both home and residential care settings will be highly valued, and your skills will have a genuine impact on the lives of people in our community.

 Position overview

  • Employment Type:  Permanent, part time (32 hours per fortnight)
  • Classification: Allied Health Assistant Grade 3

What you Bring

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate AHA who:

  • Holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Delivers therapeutic activities under the direction of the clinical team
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicates effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Understands the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of rehabilitation and complex health needs
