About the Business Unit:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
Technology Solutions and Data Security (TSDS) is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
Technology Solutions and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role:
As the Customer Engagement Officer, you will quickly establish close working relationships with key business stakeholders and develop an intimate understanding of requirements within the business and operational context.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing high-level advice to senior management on the adequateness of systems, development and implementation strategies, risks and mitigation strategies
- Managing and communicating the proposed schedule of initiatives that TS aim to deliver to ensure the business outcomes are met.
- Planning and co-ordinating appropriate business participation in project initiatives.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in ICT project environments is desirable
- Knowledge of the functions and procedures of Department of Justice and Community Safety Operations is desirable.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable
- Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications, e.g. Project Management, Agile, Platforms, Service Management or Change Management are highly desirable
