About the Business Unit:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
Technology Solutions and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role:
The primary responsibility of the Change Analyst will be to maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance via an established change management methodology, working to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organisation to increase benefit realisation, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Some of your duties will include:
- Supporting the Project Manager with readiness and adoption by developing appropriate change interventions
- Following an established and robust change management approach within Technology Solutions and Data Security, with scope to adjust change approach dependent on project requirements
- Coordinating an organisational change management approach for each change initiative, including the development of a high-level organisational change management strategy and change action plan.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Understanding of contemporary Organisational Change Management practice to contribute and follow an Organisation Change Management strategy and consulting model within a complex Information and Communication Technology (ICT) environment.
- Experience in developing a stakeholder matrix, subsequent analysis of stakeholders and a structured approach to engaging with project teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders pertinent to a complex ICT environment.
- Demonstrable experience in developing an organisational change management action plan for all stakeholder groups within an IT project that will help guide and drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- PROSCI qualification or equivalent (desired)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Degree qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline.
