About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly Pharmacy team. In this role, you will assist Pharmacists and other Pharmacy Technicians with dispensing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and maintaining ward supplies. You'll be responsible for reviewing and replenishing imprest stock, ensuring stock rotation and expiry checks, and supporting prescription workflows including patient enquiries and administrative duties. Additional tasks include maintaining pharmacy records, processing deliveries, preparing manufactured items, and assisting with CPR kit and patient medication management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy setting, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Salary Range: $39.56 per hour including casual loading, plus superannuation

What you bring

  • Completion of a Certificate III in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or community Pharmacy equivalent
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to handle enquiries at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and people skills
