About the role
The Property Services team is seeking a driven, analytical and experienced commercial property professional to manage a property portfolio of electorate offices across Victoria. In this role, you will manage lease obligations and ensure that properties are maintained to the Department's accommodation standards.
A true client facing role, you will conduct property inspections, liaise with and provide expert advice to Members of Parliament, electorate officers, parliamentary employees and service providers on property-related matters, with a focus on best client service.
About you
- You are an experienced commercial property management professional, with experience in a dynamic property or asset management environment.
- With client management experience, you are a strong communicator and problem solver. You understand the importance of confidentiality and can deal with sensitive situations in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
- You have experience in negotiating and interpreting leases, undertaking investigations and resolving property related matters, with the ability to produce written reports and correspondence to a high standard.
- You are comfortable in monitoring the financial position of a property portfolio to established budgets, while addressing any variances.
This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working in a fast- paced environment as part of a close-knit team and who is interested in contributing to the Parliament of Victoria.
This role requires a current driver's license and regular travel across Victoria with occasional overnight stays.
