  • Salary Range: $121,274.40 - $130,603.2 pro rata, plus superannuation + penalties
  • The PARC RPN - Clinical Nurse Specialist Lead acts as the on-site manager outside of business hours, taking responsibility for staff, consumers, visitors and the overall service when the Manager is not rostered.

At Ngootyoong PARC, you will deliver recovery-focused, evidence-based care to consumers with complex mental health needs, while also supporting their families and carers. Working in a home-like, therapeutic setting, you will play a key role in assessment, care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration to support positive recovery outcomes.

Ngootyoong PARC provides recovery-oriented, sub-acute mental health care for individuals at risk of or experiencing serious mental illness. We offer short-term (up to 28 days) and medium-term (up to 6 months) residential programs, along with a two-week day program, to support recovery across biological, psychological, and social wellbeing.

What you bring

We are looking for a motivated Registered Psychiatric Nurse with:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse; and completion of either Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Masters of Mental Health Nursing (or other relevant Post Graduate Course) or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program; and at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
  • Demonstrated skills in delivering psychiatric and recovery-oriented care.
  • Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and community settings.
  • A strong commitment to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and their families.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
