About the role

South West Healthcare's Haemodialysis Unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife to join our team in a Fixed Term Parental Leave Coverage Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) position.

As ANUM, you will work in close partnership with the Haemodialysis Manager to:

  • Champion clinical excellence and high-quality patient care
  • Support effective resource management and operational efficiency
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our committed Haemodialysis team
  • Step into the Unit Manager role when required, offering valuable leadership development opportunities

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Part time (48 hours per fortnight), Fixed Term Parental Leave Coverage ending 25/10/2027
  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Associate Nurse Unit Manager
  • Salary Range: $120,416.40 pro rata, plus superannuation

 

What you bring

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of four years post-graduate experience, with proven excellence in clinical assessment
  • Strong commitment to clinical safety, professional standards, and patient-centred care
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is highly regarded
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and staff supervision capabilities
