• Employment Type: Part Time, Fixed Term (Up to 72 hours per fortnight)
  Tenure:
• 24 hours per fortnight 28 September 2026 to 26 September 2027
• 48 Hours per fortnight 28 September 2026 to 18 July 2027
• Location: Warrnambool Campus
• Classification: Nurse/Midwife Not Elsewhere Classified
• Salary: $134,498 pro rata, plus superannuation and applicable penalties

About the Role

South West Healthcare is seeking applications from current employees interested in stepping into the temporary role of Clinical Coordinator.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses wanting to expand their leadership skills, gain exposure to hospital operations, and experience the Clinical Coordinator role in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will support the day to day coordination of hospital operations, providing clinical leadership across teams while managing patient flow, staffing resources, and operational priorities across shifts, including after hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to staff
• Coordinate patient flow and hospital operations
• Manage staffing and operational priorities
• Respond to clinical escalations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and positive team culture

About You

We are looking for someone who is adaptable who enjoys supporting teams and thrives in a fast paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership capability in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to make sound decisions under pressure
