• Salary Range: $140,665.20 per annum, plus superannuation  

About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide clinical governance and leadership across Speech Pathology services in acute, subacute and community-based programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse and experienced team, support high quality clinical practice and contribute to the ongoing development of Speech Pathology services across SWH. You will work across a broad range of services, supporting people of all ages and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the organisation.

The role also provides direct line management of the School Readiness Program, Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) and Behaviour Assessment Clinic, providing a diverse leadership portfolio and the opportunity to influence service delivery across clinical and community programs.

The successful applicant will bring an engaging and collaborative leadership style, with excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to support teams through periods of change. This role will suit an experienced clinician who is ready to broaden their leadership experience and contribute to service development across a diverse portfolio.

What you bring

You will have:

• 10+ years of post-graduate clinical experience, including experience in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrated experience leading and supporting high-performing clinical teams
• Strong skills in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
• The ability to build effective relationships and influence positive outcomes across teams and services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams through change
• A strong commitment to patient-focused care and continuous improvement
• Experience supporting staff development, learning and clinical supervision
• Eligibility for membership or registration with Speech Pathology Australia
