Physiotherapist Grade 1 or Grade 2

Fixed Term Part Time or Full Time  – 80 hours per fortnight – 22/04/2024 – 02/03/2025

Classification:  Physiotherapist Gr 1 or Grade 2 dependent on experience

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 -2026

This is an exciting opportunity for a Grade 1 or Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the fantastic physiotherapy and Allied Health team at MDHS on a fixed term basis, from 22^nd April 2024 until 2^nd March 2025!! There is flexibility within this role, working across all campuses and settings, working in acute, aged care and community, this is an opportunity not to be missed. In this role, you will provide Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and community members within a multi-disciplinary team environment. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Registration with Physiotherapists' Registration Board of Victoria.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

 Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

• Demonstrated skill in working in trans-disciplinary and professional teams, in order to achieve best client outcomes.
• Understanding and commitment to evidence-based treatment and client-centred work.
• Demonstrated level of expertise in the application of principles and skills of clinical physiotherapy.
• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

 Desirable

• Well-developed computer skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.
