An experienced and dynamic nurse with management and leadership experience is sought to join BRHS as the Nurse Unit Manager in our Rehabilitation ward. You will lead a stable and highly experienced senior team of nurses that facilitate a well-supported and smooth-running ward.

The Flanagan/Rehabilitation ward is an unusual 20-bed mixed unit providing Sub-Acute in-patient Rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation, Transition Care and Acute Alcohol and Drug Detoxification (AOD) programs. The unit works in collaboration with a dedicated sub-acute Allied Health team established in the ward.

Minimum criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience and recent senior nursing or management experience
  • Demonstrated competence in leadership and management with the proven ability to manage the day to day operations, staff motivation and management and professional support.
