Come work with us
We are looking for people who want to help make Victoria safer, to work in our Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) crews.
Our field-based Seasonal Forest and Fire Operations Officers (formerly Project Firefighters), Rappel Crews and office-based Fire Support Officers work alongside our permanent firefighting staff to help deliver land management activities and respond to bushfires and other emergencies.
If you like working outdoors and want to be part of a great team that helps protect the community, apply now.
You may have noticed that the position title of our seasonal roles has changed. This new title better reflects the nature of the work that our seasonal employees do. When they are not responding to emergencies, they are helping to deliver land management activities.
